Hard Work Means More Play |

| Rochester , N.Y. – From June 20-24, 2007, the city of Rochester , New York , a city that offers its citizens a variety of entertainment, held their annual Harborfest with entertainment, crafts, fireworks and a carnival. New York-based Midway Rides of Utica, owned by Dana Peck, provided the midway. The carnival has operated for more than 28 years, taking more than 20 rides to church festivals, fairs, and firemen's field days. New for the 2007 season is the Vortex, an A.R.M. Skymaster that the show acquired from the H.T. Cole Shows' auction. The ride has smaller, angled platforms on both sides rather than the rectangular ones found on the older SkyMasters. There is no doghouse, and the operator handles the ride from the side. With two operators, the platforms and entrances allow loading from both sides for faster turnaround . Also, new is the Wind Glider, the show's version of the Dartron Cliff Hanger. The show has converted a Star Trooper that features a green and purple color scheme like most Cliff Hangers, but retains the Star Trooper lights on top of the sweeps. Edge lights are in an arrow design like the Zero Gravity, and the lights are green, purple and white except on the edge of the center sign where they are orange. The center sign is square like the Star Trooper, rather than the triangle that is on a Cliff Hanger.

In the peripheral equipment category, a new generator and a stock trailer were also added. During the off-season, the show worked on repainting their Hurricane and the Jet Ski ride. Among the food choices on the lot were fried dough/ funnel cake, French fries, and ice cream that was housed in a former Perry's Ice Cream trailer. There were about 20 other food vendors in and around a large tent in the park. For those looking to tempt Lady Luck, there were nine games and Dave's I Got It, a concession that usually books with Powers Great American Midways.
The festival generally draws upwards of 100,000 visitors and there were a large number of craft vendors also set up throughout the park.
